FCHS Student Council participated in the virtual Jostens Renaissance National Conference on July 20th-22nd. Jostens Renaissance is a program that our Falcon P.R.I.D.E. committee and Student Council use as a resource for our programs. Their foundation comes from working with an amazing network of educators and students on renewing culture, school climate, and ultimately helping students get across the stage on graduation day. The formula of "Respect+Recognize+Reward+Reinforce=Results" is one we have adapted to fit our Falcon Country Pre-K through 12th grade school district.
At this year’s conference our school was recognized as a National Silver School of Distinction. This recognition program was created to celebrate those schools that, in collaboration with the Renaissance community, are making a positive impact on school climate and culture through executing the Renaissance formula to get Results. Our school had to share how we use the 5R formula and have brought it to life in our schools based on our submission of details on how we execute Renaissance best practices, collaborate with others to drive measurable results through recognizing positive behavior and achievements of students and staffulty (faculty & staff). In addition to this honor, our Falcon P.R.I.D.E. committee was up for recognition for our successful alteration to our reward systems due to COVID-19 pandemic. It's through this work and perseverance that we can continue to make positive change in our school community!
